"What we learn from flying."

We learn patience and forbearance. Just like we learn patience in driving around our large cities. Many prosperous places are clogged with cars.

I would love to travel if we could just walk out the door and appear at the new destination.

But all of the lines and people at the airport and the clogged roads make us often decide to stay home.

When you get old time really goes by quickly. I get up and eat breakfast and check the news and email on the computer then it is noon. We fix lunch and clean up kitchen then it is time for supper.

Go for a walk and eat supper, then take shower and it is time for bed. I don't have time for travel.

I hate flying. Hate it. Hate the lines, hate the crowds, hate the breathtaking levels of apathy and incompetence at every level of service (and despite what they think, they are service providers). Add now the ever present spectre of the deliberate disruption by this malevolent administration and it's unlikely I will get on a plane for the next decade.
