Sage advice Mr Keillor. Age does give one perspective, though it takes a Writer to put that into reflective & universal terms. Children literally are our future and warrant our recognition, care and attention and love. My days of direct input with my own children have long gone, perhaps rather more the other way these days, but I have hopes for the grandchildren to be and will be thankful if I can be present at that age of wonderment and be part of creating it!

I hope to see you in Kossars, the wonderful bagel maker whose new shop on 72nd and West End Ave should open in May. This way you can stroll along RSD. Of course, we miss Jimmy, Georgia, Carmelo and the crew who ran Pier 72, our famed and loved coffee shop that was on this corner for 40+ yrs. My daughter grew up on their chicken soup and my days of sitting at breakfast with my little one in a high chair are sweet memories. My daughter, now 23 and I have had a few magical trips and I am so grateful for those moments. I have learned that simple easy moments are the jewels. Let’s hope Kossars coffee is up to par. I will see you there! Have a beautiful day.
