It’s tomato-harvesting season, which illustrates the parable of the vineyard in the Gospel of Matthew. There are so many tomatoes in Lake Wobegon this time of year, it doesn’t matter that you didn’t do any work raising them yourself: you're going to end up with the fruits of your neighbors' labor.
