God Lord! I love Fred. And he still has a good head of hair. But he doesn't look all that well. Maybe I'm just seeing my reflection in the mirror.
It seems like just yesterday he was doing gravity defying sound effects on PHK. Now we are old men. I'm not a violent person but I'm going to have a few words with "god" when this is all over.
No one looks all that well under florescent light. Even direct sunlight is more flattering. Some of us actually go into voice work because we're concerned about our appearance. on-camera or on stage. With voice work, we don't have to dress up or comb our hair before a session of fairly well-paying work in a glass booth. I must agree however, that Fred is the finest interpreter of GK's poetry--even the serious, thoughtful, autumnal stuff.
No one could do a better job with this lovely poem than Fred Newman! What a grand way to introduce the book. Now, if only he would come along with the book to read each poem! Thank you for offering it this way!
Fred sounds great and looks great. So relaxing ☺️ and Sweet, Beautiful, and Tender. Please do more of these. Love that double yellow gold wedding band too on your right hand. Extremely Unique and Original.
The talent of Fred Newman is remarkable, always amazed. What a perfect poem for him to read Ahhh could reminisce and on all the past live shows we have attended.

I have to disagree with Mr. Herzog. I think Mr. Newman looks well; youthful and charming, even! And his reading (and all that other stuff he does) of the poem is delightful.

My Brisk Verse book order preceded Mr. Newman's heartfelt rendition of one of the verses/poems, but his rendition was truly icing on the cake.
