Couldn't agree more with that last paragraph. It's called "sane-washing". https://www.cjr.org/the_media_today/trump_incoherent_media_sanewashing.php

Ryan, I think all public libraries have audio books to borrow. And if you subscribe to Spotify or other streaming service you can get them there. 🙂

Unfortunately most people don’t read the papers. Thanks to the long term effort to degrade education many people don’t have critical thinking skills and no media literacy education.

They watch him. At rallies. Do they all have bad hearing like mine that came from/with/after COVID? Except if I’d choose to watch I’d scream and prob be arrested. So one doesn’t have to read his blather.

And I fear so much tsuris that we won’t know for some time: mainly he will tie this up in more lawsuits.

Why can’t people who say they are or are really rich just do good? LeBron James is very rich and kind and does good. He’s a role model.

Kamala is not rich. Tim isn’t either. They are leaders who do good. Elect them.

Hate, fear, greed, anger make the elixir of power, the kool-aid once drunk by unhappy people that makes lies and meanness sound like fun. The antidote: Be truthful and kind and active in helping the other fellow who needs it. The only sucker’s game is letting our values weaken.

OMG! Every person who is thinking about supporting or voting for Rump should watch this.

It doesn’t seem to matter. I tried quotes to someone who just thinks I don’t like Drumpf not that he’s a danger. Yes friendships are ending. Values matter.

I had a friendship with a pro Trumper. She passed away last year, and I prioritized what we could share. I realized she was not too bright in general, but we were childhood friends and she was a great storyteller true to life, and I knew all the characters.

Now if you will excuse me, I must begin indoctrinating children before preparing them for their gender re-assignment surgeries in my third period English class today. So busy!

Good morning, Garrison: For this one week going forward I'm practicing "Patriotism". I am displaying nothing but truth about the person, I would never us the term "man", that all know and don't seem to see or hear. Thanks for today's letter and it will be shared on my Facebook.

Right now I wish for two things, and will probably get neither.

1. Yankees win the world series; and,

2. An electoral college landslide.

But I will be going to Galveston, Texas this December and will be singing Christmas Carols with a truly diverse crowd, and that will make up for not getting my two wishes!! And I can't even sing well!!!

1. For the first time in decades I was a Yankee fan but as my college freshman granddaughter said, the way they played, they deserved to lose.

2. A landslide for Harris.

2a. Have a great time in Galveston, doesn't matter how good your voice is, singing carols is the way to go, especially to Texans, they need it.

Well, the Yankees got what they deserved with how they played. But I did get my landslide. To me, it did not make a difference who won, I just wanted the election over so we could look forward. I am hoping for cross-political unity in Galvaston while we sing, which I think will happen.
