We were in that Holland crowd, too, and sitting next to a pastor's wife and the pastor. I wonder if they were the Mc Donalds. The singing was beautiful; we were also glad almost everyone in the audience was wearing a mask--which isn't always the case in this conservative community.
It would be even better with my soul if we could get the Prairie Homers together again for another Holland America Line Cruise! I used to join in the singing from the balcony, like the young woman in this scene.
How we looked forward to our choral singing on cruises! What a great way to start the day! And then there might be a variety of lectures: "Sea birds you can see off the coast" or "The treasures of the Vatican" or maybe movies of polar bears catching fish!
Those cruises were the absolute highlight of the year for me! Shame on COVID-19 for keeping the cruise ships docked in their home ports! Oh, Well! Perhaps next year!
Wink was a temporary childhood home to singer and songwriter Roy Orbison. . Orbison later described the major components of life in Wink as "football, oil fields, oil, grease and sand" and in later years expressed relief that he was able to leave the desolate town. This according to Wikipedia
Wink, was the West Texas childhood home of Roy Orbison, they have a museum there about him. Meanwhile: A few years ago I contacted the producers and recommended you should be awarded the Mark Twain prize, which is for comedians and pundits, and I felt you, like Will Rodgers, were truly deserving. Though it's terrible how things have turned out, you are still deserving of that prize.

I knew I'd heard of it somewhere. Thanks for clearing that up.
Wikipedia is my friend, not all the time, but sometimes.
Re Bethel Gospel. Internet Archive has a serious collection of music.
